About the Role
The Sales Engineering (SE) Manager at Zscaler plays a key role in bridging technology and strategy. As a trusted advisor for both customers and SEs, you will work closely with your sales leader counterpart to:
- Develop talented technology account teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise customers to transform their network, security, and application access using Zscaler's technology platform.
- Act as the lead evangelist to internal Zscaler product development teams on behalf of customers.

- Ensure all technical processes are in place.
- Implement personal development plans for your team members.
- Ensure optimal engagement with all accounts in your region.
- Collaborate with the Area Sales Director to build a sales plan.
- Within 90 Days
- Confidently manage complex sales cycles and present to senior executives.
- Provide technical thought leadership and advice to the regional team.
- Leverage internal and external resources for customer success.
- Build effective relationships with Partners, Customer’s technology groups, and Zscaler staff.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience as an SE leader or in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in leading regional teams.
- Excellent understanding and experience in selling networking or security technologies.
- Understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
- Familiarity with SaaS-based technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and motivation to build an effective team.
- Effective use of various influencing styles.
- Persistent in overcoming obstacles and driven in achieving closure.
- Participate in continuous improvement of Zscaler’s products and strategies.
- Innovative solutions development addressing key business issues and needs.
