Position Overview:

Barbaricum seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support a Marine Corps customer, offering subject matter and technical expertise. This role involves supporting all phases of the program lifecycle including development, execution, and supervision of plans, policies, and programs focused on data management and enhancement.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining an environment for data management, facilitating requirement development, and integrating data systems to improve maintenance and logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze data from various information sources.
• Assess relevant information sources for applicable metrics.
• Design, build, and maintain queries to support the program, such as Depot Data and Process Improvement.
• Support parallel, mandated initiatives.
• Provide data analysis and advice on Enterprise-level investment decisions to the Government.
• Conduct gap and capability analysis on Marine Corps’ Logistics data systems.
• Support total life cycle management activities for Military Equipment, Secondary Items, Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S).
• Conduct project modeling, business process mapping, IT procedures and program support, leading modernization activities.
• Research, develop, and test advanced techniques to enrich and automate analytic capabilities, including machine learning with unstructured data, machine vision, and deep knowledge association.
• Design capabilities to support modeling, simulation, analysis, and development of IT systems/applications.
• Develop methods for exploring new systems, procedures, threats, and environments safely using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Create M&S software development and test plans, and develop/test M&S software prototypes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Operations Research or a related field.
• 10+ years of USMC logistics experience in data/data analytics.
• Proficiency in Master Data Repository data lake, DAX, R, Java, GAWK, Windows script writing, and other relevant programming languages.
• Expertise in utilizing Power BI for developing dashboards and reports.
