Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer within Lear’s EU&AF AME team, you will play a crucial role in the execution and management of data-focused projects across our expansive manufacturing operations. This position demands a proactive approach in managing vast datasets, developing data pipelines, and implementing solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data engineering projects using Lear’s analytics platforms.
• Develop tools for data analysis and presentation for executive decision-making.
• Integrate and manage large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Apply machine learning models to drive business solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls.

What We Need from You:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in data engineering within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design complex ETL processes and data pipelines.
