Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with operational teams and data scientists to develop cutting-edge solutions that bolster business decision-making processes. Your expertise will be crucial in constructing secure, reliable, and efficient data pipelines and supporting the deployment of Industry 4.0 projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data-driven projects using Lear’s analytics and application platforms within the EU&AF AME team.
• Manage project lifecycle from inception through to analytical solutions and deployment.
• Facilitate the creation and regional standardization of analytical tools for data presentation to executive management.
• Design and populate extensive databases from diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
• Deploy programming skills in Python and PySpark to refine and manage large data sets.
• Translate technical data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Ensure alignment of documentation with corporate standards including ITPM and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Continually enhance system performance and resource deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Systems/Software Engineering.
• Proven experience in a data engineering role within a dynamic team environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in an Agile framework.

Preferred Experience:

• 2-5 years in a multinational manufacturing environment, ideally with data optimization experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Familiarity with using data in machine learning and integrating multiple data systems like financial, HR, ERP, etc.
