Position Summary

As a Data Analyst in our team, you will demonstrate up-to-date expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans. You will provide expert advice and guidance, aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs. You’ll build commitment through perspectives and rationales, supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, and ensuring necessary processes and practices are carried out efficiently. Your role includes monitoring progress, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to new responsibilities and organizational changes. You will model compliance with company policies, mission, values, and ethics while demonstrating the application of these principles in executing business processes.

What You'll Do

As part of the Team, your responsibilities as a Data Analyst in the US Healthcare sector will include:

  • Analyzing large volumes of healthcare data to identify trends and insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Developing and executing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
  • Cleaning, validating, and transforming raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Using statistical techniques and tools to conduct data analysis and generate reports and visualizations.
  • Identifying data quality issues and recommending solutions to improve data integrity.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and healthcare regulations.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the US healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare data, including insurance claims, electronic health records, and healthcare analytics.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and relevant tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH, with experience in handling sensitive healthcare data.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
