Job Description:

Our IT Application Monitoring and Observability team is seeking a proactive Infrastructure and Data Engineering Lead to steer a team dedicated to enhancing operational systems and infrastructure. Managing over 3TB of data daily, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, processing, and visualizing data to support our expansive employee network effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of skilled engineers.
• Owning and managing complex engineering tasks from inception to execution.
• Participating in monitoring requirement sessions and managing the team's backlog.
• Contributing to architectural decision records and handling feasibility studies.
• Consulting with our Security department to ensure solutions are robust and secure.
• Direct reporting to the Program Leader, enhancing project coordination and delivery.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable leadership experience within IT infrastructure teams.
• Expertise in operating cloud infrastructure on Azure, deploying applications with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Proficient in DevOps principles, and containerized application operations using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with NO-SQL databases, specifically Elasticsearch with LogStash.
• Understanding of IT security measures and development skills in scripting.
• Analytical skills with experience designing data pipelines and familiarity with Azure services.

Technological Stack:

• Databases & Tools: Elastic Stack, MS SQL Server, Grafana, Octopus
• Programming Languages: Python, C#.NET, Ruby
• Environment: Docker, Azure Cloud (AKS)
