About The Role

Are you a skilled Data Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Solution Architecture team? We need someone to help define mappings across our integration architecture. If you excel at accessing and analyzing databases without documentation, applying functional context to data structures, and documenting your findings, you could be the perfect fit for us!

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing databases to support the mapping of physical data models between applications
• Collaborating with business users to understand scenarios and use cases reflected in data
• Drafting changes to logical data models for review and approval
• Documenting mappings and coordinating with the Architecture team for approval
• Supporting development and test teams based on identified mappings
• Working with application teams on designing and estimating detailed implementations

Required Expertise

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experiences:

Mandatory

• Experience working in the Insurance sector, especially the London Market
• Significant experience with data analysis in databases lacking documentation
• Proficiency with MS SQL

Optional/Beneficial

• Ability to convey complex technical ideas to both business and technical colleagues
• Experience in data modeling
• Experience in process definition
• Familiarity with Infosphere/FastTrack
