Job Description

• Cooperate with product development teams (game or gamification solutions) to understand insights and prioritize analysis needs
• Obtain data from either primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Strain out and "clean" data by detecting any incongruities or outliers
• Assess data using statistical techniques and deliver routine reports
• Identify and interpret trends or patterns in intricate data sets
• Show information utilizing dashboards and other data visualization methods
• Analyze Jira Data for production process
• Highlight production bottlenecks
• Analyze and disassemble existing game balance systems, suggesting improvements based on collected data.
• Review player behavior, evaluate game performance and report suggestions accordingly.
• Offer full player analysis every semester for each project
• Produce full data analysis every quarter for all games
• Generate quarterly data-based recommendation lists for each project
• Provide monthly reports of key performance indicators for all projects

Qualifications

Experience

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
• Prior working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst is preferable

Knowledge

• Understanding of data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Familiar with reporting packages (like Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
• Proficient in Jira (Data, Dashboards, JQL queries)
• Experience in statistical packages useful for analyzing datasets (like Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Project management knowledge is advantageous
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Metabase or Microsoft Power BI is preferred

Skills

• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and distribute substantial amounts of information with precision and accuracy
• Adept at assembling queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Professional English competency
• Excellent presentation & reporting skills
• Strong communication skills
