Internship - Data Scientist Assistant (M/F)

You will play a crucial role by supporting all global Data Science projects. Your workplace will be The Island, our centrally located Paris office. Your main duties will include assisting internal data scientists with product support, working in collaboration with internal and external data experts. Assist with Data Science teams and disseminate guidelines: - Understand the technical stack, guidelines, and assets of the Global Data Team. - Assist by outlining requirements for Data Science needs. - Setup and manage Data Science tools. - Contribute to the enhancement of existing technical steps. Participate in the upgrade of data science tools: - Test functionalities to ensure high-quality Data Science solutions. - Ensure safe technical use of data science development environments. - Apply quality assurance tests within the Data Science tools in use, for example, Leon. Promote Data Science culture: - Create documentation on developed solutions and implementation choices. - Contribute to the awareness and promotion of Data Science initiatives. To support our three primary digital programs, IT has launched a dedicated team, the Global Data team, to aid and expedite global and local data projects. The Global Data team has the mandate to manage data on a large scale by owning the data tech strategy and providing creative building blocks for success at Pernod Ricard. The focus of the Global Data Team covers five primary pillars: - Data tech vision and roadmap - drive tech strategy & own architecture standards & technologies for Data for all of Pernod Ricard Group. - Scalable data products and platform – Provide innovative, scalable Data products and platform for all, and develop partnerships. - Data-as-a-product - Drive business value for Data by providing generic and scalable Data assets. - Data Acceleration – Ensure change management for transformation, innovation, and efficiency. - Global Data Project – Advisory on project scoping and accountable for Global data project delivery. Pernod Ricard initiated key digital programs (KDPs). We've launched pilots to exhibit value for each KDP. An external company oversees these pilots, manually collecting data and launching algorithms. The Global Data team is actively involved in all three KDPs and is tasked with delivering assets/capabilities for the project. We are in search of a data science project assistant that will aid in assisting, developing and deploying data science capabilities and guidelines for the KDPs initially, which can later be utilized for global and local projects.
