Education Required

You must be regularly enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Life Sciences, or a related field at an educational establishment in Europe.

Language Requirement

Fluency in English is required. French language skills are optional but beneficial.

Internship Details

Expected Start Date: Between now and September 2024
Duration: Minimum of 3 months, full-time
Work Arrangements: Hybrid (2-3 days/week on-site)
Requisite: The internship must be part of your curriculum and require a signed agreement between GSK, the student, and the educational establishment.
Remuneration: As per Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid; however, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What Will You Do?

As part of our international vaccines AI/ML team, you will:

  • Work on an independent research project supported by your supervisor.
  • Be involved in building, optimizing, and validating state-of-the-art nucleotide acid sequence models.
  • Use deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Work with large biological datasets.
  • Present your results to data scientists and bioinformaticians.
