We’re seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer for our dynamic technical team supporting Investment Management. As a key contributor to our data warehousing initiatives, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support our investment strategies.

Role Contributions

• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Cloud services for our cloud-based data warehouse.
• Design and implement ETL processes to manage data in our Snowflake warehouse.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to develop data models meeting business requirements.
• Implement Data Vault 2.0 methodologies ensuring data integrity and flexibility.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline and warehouse performance.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead efforts to enhance data quality and governance across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering focused on data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing platforms.
• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, or Java.
• Experience with data governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in investment management or financial services.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or data engineering (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer).

Compensation

Voya is committed to equitable pay. The annual base salary range reflects expected hiring ranges for this position in specific locations. In addition to the base salary, we offer incentive opportunities based on performance. Exact compensation will be finalized upon offer based on location, experience, education, and skill level.

Salary Range: $122,300 - $152,880 USD
