Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking qualified Journeyman Configuration Data Managers with TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Support all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting for an ACAT I equivalent weapon system program from development to final disposition.
• Implement government and DoD CM/DM policies for requirements management, document management, change management, production, and configuration management over the weapon system lifecycle.
• Participate in program design reviews, technical meetings, and working groups to offer configuration management insights and resolve issues.
• Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
• Develop and coordinate program configuration and data management requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Engineering Data Management Plans and Engineering Data Activity Files.
• Plan and execute Engineering Data Guidance Conferences and In-Process Reviews (IPRs) of engineering drawings.
• Support all aspects of deficiency reporting, management, and closure throughout the weapon system lifecycle.
• Manage program documentation, records, history, meeting minutes, action items, proposals, deviations, and waivers.
• Execute program technical reviews and configuration audits.
• Operate Configuration Control Boards and Business Management Boards.
• Prepare, review, and approve contract data requirements lists and Computer Program Identification Numbers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant CM/DM experience in government and/or industry.
• Ability to independently perform all functional duties at the Journeyman level.
• TS/SCI Clearance is mandatory.
