About the Job: As a Jr. eData Analyst at NielsenIQ, you will be an integral part of our data management team, responsible for overseeing activities such as quality control tests (acid tests, primary data tests, RAP scoring) from data receipt to successful data upload to our data ingestion platform.

Key Responsibilities

Support sourcing teams and supplier management and compliance specialists with any quality testing requests for new or potential suppliers. Understand and implement the agreed-upon data format with suppliers according to the contract, and manage the setup in data ingestion or other input platforms. You will be tasked with loading files to the platform as needed, ensuring data is received as scheduled, and escalating issues when data is not received in the desired format by the agreed date. Additionally, you will communicate with retailers to verify data queries or store queries (e.g., missing addresses), regularly update supplier KPIs for timeliness and data quality, generate tickets, and ensure resolution for any issues with Nielsen systems for subsequent data processing.

About You

You should hold a Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree in Statistics/Data Analysis, possess advanced English skills, and have 6 months to 1-year relevant work experience. A strong ability to interpret different data structures and mappings is crucial. Knowledge of R, SQL, Spotfire, and Unix/Shell/Python is desirable.
