Overview

The Data Analyst is a full-time position supporting the Data Operations Team at ISS STOXX Market Intelligence. This role involves data collection, management, and production, inclusive of ad-hoc projects aiding Research Analysts. Data types include mutual funds, ETFs, compensation, annuities, and insurance.

Ideal candidates will possess a high level of independent judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in both team settings and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for those seeking a challenging position that demands high performance and offers hands-on experience with data and financial analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collect data following established methodologies and comply with work processes and performance standards to ensure timely, high-quality data.
• Validate, clean, and input sourced data into ISS internal systems and database tools.
• Create high-quality reports and other deliverables for internal research teams.
• Engage in data quality assurance efforts, including performing root-cause analysis for identified data quality issues.
• Support relevant process improvement and technology projects by contributing to specifications and testing deliverables.
• Help maintain documentation of work processes and institutional knowledge in a centralized, web-based database.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Perform repetitive data entry tasks.

Qualifications

Training & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related fields.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
• Computer savvy with the ability to learn new technology concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; thrives in a cross-border, multi-cultural work environment.
• Adaptability to perform various and changing tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience relevant to Data Operations and the financial services industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial terms and SPSS software experience is advantageous.

Work Location & Schedule

Amenable to working at Makati City on a permanent dayshift schedule (9am – 6pm, Manila Time). Will undergo a 3-month onsite training on a midshift schedule (3pm-12mn, Manila Time) before transitioning to a hybrid working arrangement (minimum of 3 days onsite per week).
