We are presently hiring a Junior Data Analyst [M/F] (for six months) for our Paris office. The team you will be a part of: the Solutions Team. The Solutions team is responsible for designing and developing groundbreaking solutions that make use of Kayrros proprietary geospatial technologies to address clients' specific requirements for alternative data on the energy transition, emissions, and ecosystem protection. Role As a part of “project squads” composed of various profiles (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Project Managers, Business Strategists), you will deliver high-value content to clients. Your role will involve understanding the project's context, exploring data sources, testing models, producing valuable insights and analytics, and supporting client delivery. You will frequently interact with clients, and you will integrate feedback, applying your analytical abilities to derive user value from complex datasets. Requirements Profile An excellent opportunity if you are seeking a six-month end-of-study internship starting between January and May 2024 and want to join a fast-growing start-up. You will graduate from an engineering school or computer science studies You are interested in energy and climate-related subjects You possess an analytical mindset and can autonomously solve problems You are a team player, accustomed to collaborating with technical and non-technical people You are dynamic, curious, and eager to learn about machine learning, geospatial, and the energy industry Python is a tool you find useful for handling, processing, and analyzing data, and you are keen on honing your skills You are proficient in English communication, including with non-technical individuals You can deliver and present the results of your research with engaging visuals You are capable of working in a high-paced environment Experience with GIS software or geospatial data like QGIS, Google Earth Pro, rasterio, geopandas, is optional.
