Junior Data Analyst

TechOp Solutions International, a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in the Defense & Space industry, is looking for a driven and meticulous Junior Data Analyst to join our team. With more than ten years of experience providing operational and technological solutions to Federal, state, local, and private/commercial organizations, TechOp is on the cutting edge of preparation and response to security threats, including natural and human-made disasters. The Junior Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in the collection, analysis, and visualization of data to provide insights for DHS. The analyst will have opportunities to learn and develop in skills and scope while working cooperatively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist in entering and updating data within internal databases and systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy. Use statistical methods to analyze data. Identify patterns and trends in data sets. Responsible for creating regular and one-time reports based on requirements. Work with senior members to align with stakeholder reporting needs. Ability to create basic visuals, including graphs, charts, and dashboards. Work with limited supervision to ensure tasks are completed on time. Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals. Requirements Basic knowledge or a strong interest in data analysis. Moderate to advanced use of Excel. Willingness to learn and improve data interpretation skills. Good communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. BA/BS or High School Diploma with 2 years of professional experience. Ability to meet all security requirements. Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. Experience applying statistical methods or identifying patterns/trends in data sets. Some professional experience in data visualization or analysis. Use of Tableau and or Power BI.
