👩‍💻👨‍💻 About the role The Junior Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of data-driven solutions for the business. This includes supporting the design of analytics infrastructure, data integration and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical insights to stakeholders. 🚧 What you’ll do Data Collection & Integration: - Assist in gathering, cleaning, and integrating data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. - Collaborate with data engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines. Data Analysis: - Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data patterns and trends. - Support the design and execution of complex analytical projects using statistical techniques. Reporting & Visualization: - Support developing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders. - Assist in automating reports and setting up scheduled data retrieval processes. Collaboration: - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other technical teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions. - Attend cross-functional meetings to provide data-related support and insights. Continuous Learning: - Stay updated with the latest technologies, methodologies, and best practices in data analytics. - Participate in workshops, training, and courses to enhance technical skills. 🙌 Who will you work with? His most recent professional engagement was with a consultancy, where he focused on data-driven decision-making and reporting within the banking sector. At Mondu, Eduard champions adopting in-house analytics tools to enhance decision-making processes. He is deeply committed to providing his team with cutting-edge technical tools and resources and is always attentive to and appreciative of each team member's distinct aspirations and interests. We would love to hear from you. - Any degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go or R. - Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus. - Basic knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes. - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
