JUNIOR INSIGHT ANALYST

Oxford/Hybrid - Customer Success Team

ABOUT THIS JOB

Our Analysts are essential to NielsenIQ's success. They interact daily with our client base, which comprises most of the major brands you encounter in the supermarket. We also work with most of the supermarkets and other retailers where these products are found. If you noticed it during your last weekly shopping, it's likely a NielsenIQ client, as is the store. They all depend on our people.

Our clients approach us with problems and queries varying from decisions on new product development, devising a new pricing strategy, and much more! NielsenIQ's Analysts collaborate with our clients to produce and present analyses based on the world's top datasets. Our insights team aids clients in Health and Beauty, Beers, Wine and Spirits, or Grocery sectors.

Our employees are confident and skilled creators of impactful insights, providing clear and actionable suggestions to our clients to help them expand their businesses.

An ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can form strong connections with both our clients and our coworkers. You will quickly become a reliable associate, working with several of our clients' teams, including marketing, sales, category, and many more. You will be expected to comprehend our clients' needs and then formulate and present solutions that assist in achieving their strategic and tactical objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a thorough understanding of client business priorities and the role we can play in supporting these goals (e.g., participating in business cycles such as brand planning & range reviews etc.)
  • Understand the impact we can have on personal goals of individuals at our clients
  • Responsible for setting up client onboarding for analytics & insights services and executing tactical client training for Guided Analytics & NielsenIQ tools such as Connect Express and Discover
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities through daily interactions with our clients, passing on opportunities to Account Development to pursue

REQUIREMENTS

  • Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities with a proven record of delivering projects on time

  • Ability to perform work accurately and effectively, with attention to detail
  • Captivating presenter
  • Skilled at building relationships, both internally and with clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in an analytical environment
  • An understanding of the FMCG industry and trends
  • Able to use tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
