Job Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will guide and oversee a dedicated team of KYC Operations Analysts and Reviewers. Your mission will be to ensure full regulatory compliance and streamline client due diligence processes throughout the initiation and renewal of client relationships. Your expertise will assist in supporting various lines of business (LOBs) by implementing robust, sustainable, and scalable KYC operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive the selection, performance management, and development of team members.
  • Analyze team performance data to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Resolve escalated issues from both internal and external customers.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements and necessary changes.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture through continuous communication and effective supervisory practices.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks across broader functional areas.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 9 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with a strong background in AML, KYC, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of leading new teams and managing multiple stakeholder engagements.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a high-performance culture and develop a responsive team.
