Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Review, extract, and analyze data to formulate procedures and ensure data integrity and quality control.
  • Generate reports to identify issues and data anomalies, revising and developing new reports as needed.
  • Provide complex data analysis and sophisticated interpretations to guide divisional efforts.
  • Create and maintain data tools for regulatory reporting and operational support.
  • Train and communicate with employees and managers on database programs to generate analytical data.
  • Monitor data compliance with applicable regulations and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or related field, OR a 2-year degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field with 2 years of experience, OR 4 years of reporting and data analysis experience.
  • Six (6) years of research and analysis experience.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced experience in complex mathematical calculations and statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of computer support systems and ability to train subordinate staff.
  • Proven experience in report writing, technical requirements analysis, data modeling, and methodology development.
  • Understanding of relational database structures, principles, and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of programming languages, including DB2 and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

We Prefer You Have:

  • Eight (8) years of research and analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with CPT/HCPCS coding and Medicare reimbursement methodologies.
  • Negotiation or persuasion skills.
  • SAS experience.
