About the Role

As a Lead Data Analyst, Product at Chime, you'll be instrumental in shaping the banking experience for our members. This role involves developing, testing, launching, and scaling financial products focused on enhancing member engagement, adoption, and retention. Utilizing your skills in user behavioral analysis, statistical modeling, and data science, you will drive insights and recommendations to refine our product strategies.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing experts will be crucial in cultivating a data-driven culture, influencing product roadmaps, and gaining deep insights into user behaviors.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $165,900 to $207,300 USD depending on experience, plus bonuses, a comprehensive equity package, and extensive benefits. Benefits include 401k match, health insurance, and generous parental leave, among others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business and user engagement.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous testing and learning.
  • Collaborate extensively with product, engineering, and design teams to translate data insights into actionable product development guidance.
  • Lead and mentor on experimentation practices, success metrics, and strategic direction.
  • Engage in roadmap strategy and analysis to help navigate complex business questions with data-driven solutions.

Who You Are

With over 5 years in data-centric roles, preferably in B2C product analytics or FinTech, you possess deep expertise in SQL, R or Python, and are experienced in leading full-scale experiments and sophisticated data analysis. Your ability to create impactful visualizations and build metrics frameworks supports your excellent stakeholder management skills. A dedication to impactful outcomes and a talent for navigating ambiguity will help you thrive in this role.
