Daily Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to expert for machine learning enablement at Databricks.
- Engage regularly in SME and product meetings.
- Collaborate with the learning architecture team to comprehend business requirements for machine learning content.
- Design scalable learning solutions for the machine learning portfolio.
- Work with a global team including product managers, engineers, subject-matter experts, and other curriculum developers to build the content.
Key Impact Areas
- Serve as the trusted advisor/owner of machine learning enablement at Databricks.
- Provide technical leadership to guide curriculum initiatives on machine learning.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and learning architects to create machine learning enablement material for global customers, partners, and employees.
Qualifications
- A passion for sharing knowledge and expertise to enable others.
- 3+ years of hands-on industry experience in machine learning in roles such as:
- ML Engineer: Experience with building and maintaining production-grade cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), including deployment of ML applications and drift monitoring.
- Data Scientist: Proficiency with the latest techniques in natural language processing including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deploying LLMs using tools like HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in communicating and/or teaching technical concepts to both non-technical and technical audiences.
- A passion for collaboration, lifelong learning, and driving business value through machine learning.
- Preferred: Experience with Apache Spark to process large-scale distributed databases.

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $104,400—$184,700 USD, which may vary based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, certifications, and location. The total compensation package may also include performance bonuses and equity.
