Position Summary

Role: Lead Director, Data Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for data engineering teams
- Manage daily data engineering operations across the enterprise
- Analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop standards
- Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze large datasets from PBM, specialty, retail, and healthcare businesses
- Lead a team of data engineers and data scientists in delivering analytics projects and experiments
- Manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration to model building, performance evaluation, and testing
- Identify business needs that can be addressed with advanced analytics and translate them into business value
- Present analytics results and business insights to executives
- Review project plans, coordinate activities, and mentor junior team members

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in data engineering or a related occupation
Specific Experience Required:
- Five (5) years of experience with: creation of mobile dashboards, visual insight dashboards, reports, and scorecards; ETL architecture and design including data modeling from multiple data sources; business intelligence application development with Waterfall and Agile methodologies; SQL Server and Oracle; Teradata; PowerBI, QlikView, and QlikSense; SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Three (3) years of experience with: Azure, GCP, and Snowflake; AWS data lakes; Tableau; and Python programming
Compensation
Pay Range: $184,309.00/year to $280,000.00/year
This range represents the base hourly rate or annual full-time salary for all positions in this job grade. The exact salary offer will depend on various factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
