Role Overview:

As a key technical contributor on an agile team, you will enhance, build, and deliver market-leading technology products. Your expertise will help in shaping critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions, pivotal in supporting the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute inventive software solutions, tackle software design, development, and technical troubleshooting while venturing beyond conventional approaches.
• Develop high-quality production code securely, oversee, and debug code developed by peers.
• Lead efforts to identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues thus boosting the operational stability of applications and systems.
• Conduct outcome-focused evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to scrutinize architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Lead Software Engineering communities of practice to propel the use of emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
• Enhance team dynamics with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certifications in Software Engineering with over 5 years of applicable experience.
• Hands-on experience in ML system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
• Strong proficiency in Python, ML model frameworks, algorithms, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models.
• Proven expertise in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Capability to lead both technical and people aspects of a team of ML engineers and Backend/Full Stack engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• Skilled in automation and continuous delivery methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies.
