Job Responsibilities:

As a core technical contributor, you will:

  • Design and execute innovative software solutions, pushing beyond conventional approaches.
  • Develop and review high-quality, secure production code while managing code written by others.
  • Streamline processes by automating and eliminating recurring issues to boost operational stability.
  • Lead technical evaluations with external vendors and internal teams to enhance architectural and technical capabilities.
  • Champion new technologies across software engineering communities to enhance productivity and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a team culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Handle priority incidents and conduct thorough post-mortems to prevent future incidents.
  • Support software development lifecycle to ensure reliability and scalability with minimal need for refactoring.
  • Design and implement automated system upgrades and change management processes.
  • Participate in on-call support as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Must-Have Experience:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, including system design, coding, testing, and delivery.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Big Data technologies (Spark, ETL implementations).
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala, and familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in technical and critical mission environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
  • AWS Certifications are highly advantageous.
