Position: Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our groundbreaking products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create models that drive value for users, advertisers, and Snap Inc.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs for each decision.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
• Build robust, scalable, and long-lasting products.
• Iterate quickly without compromising quality.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and algorithms.
• Ability to prioritize duties and work independently.
• Effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Aptitude for solving ambiguous problems effectively.
• Excellent collaboration and mentorship skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Spark ML, or scikit-learn.
• Experience in machine learning, ranking infrastructures, and system design.

Compensation

In the United States, our pay structure is determined by assigned pay zones, which reflect job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Pay zones may change over time.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): Base salary range is $168,000-$252,000 annually.
• Zone B: Base salary range is $160,000-$239,000 annually.
• Zone C: Base salary range is $143,000-$214,000 annually.
