Your Role as a Machine Learning Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Appsilon, you will handle tasks including:

• Data Preparation: Collect and transform data, perform exploratory data analysis, and visualize results.
• Modeling: Design architectures, define losses, and monitor training processes while evaluating model performance.
• Engineering Standards: Ensure modularity and reproducibility in data and modeling pipelines and refine code for reuse.
• Infrastructure and MLOps: Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure and MLOps practices to meet project demands.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, refining project requirements and making technical sales contributions.

Must-have Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering foundation with extensive Python and PyTorch expertise.
• Proficiency in data wrangling and machine learning pipelines.
• Deep understanding of both classical and advanced machine learning techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (minimum C1 level).

Nice to Have

• Interest or experience in Life Sciences.
• Engagement in public projects or Data4Good initiatives.
• Academic publication history and public speaking experience.
• Note: While not required, knowledge of R could be beneficial.
