We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to enhance our Machine Learning and Data Science capabilities. In this role, you will prototype, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that are critical to our clinical and business workflows. You will have the opportunity to build ML models using real-world healthcare data, which will be deployed immediately to operations centers with live customers. Our rich and voluminous data offers limitless opportunities to apply Gen AI, LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP (Natural Language Processing), Computer Vision, Core ML (XGBoost, NN, DNN, etc.), statistics, and A/B testing.
Primary Responsibilities

- Develop cutting-edge machine learning models for diverse healthcare data sets (structured/unstructured, labeled/unlabeled, mixed-mode).
- Thoroughly validate models in real-world scenarios and deploy using the latest MLOps best practices.
- Set up ML workflows using Databricks and GitHub to ensure models are automatically retrained for the latest data.
- Implement smart monitors to ensure model performance and provide reliable predictions.
- Automate and document models and data assets for use by other ML engineers and data scientists.
- Innovate applications of machine learning using our data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- 1+ years of experience with DNN (Deep Neural Networks), NLP, LLM (Large Language Models), Prompt Engineering, LangChain, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks, Pyspark, MLFlow, GitHub, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with healthcare datasets and terminologies.
- Experience working in an agile environment with SCRUM.
Skills
- Scientific Approach – Ability to start with an open-ended question and design an analysis to answer it.
- Engineering Mentality – Focus on common denominators and building a platform that enables fast model development and deployment.
- Seek Simplicity – Build solutions with the minimum necessary complexity, considering ongoing maintainability and improvement.
What's In It For You
