About This Position

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate is curious, innovative, and can efficiently implement complex technologies. You should also be collaborative, contributing well-rounded skills to the team.

In this role, you will design and build systems that power real-time data matching and augmentation at scale. You will be responsible for ensuring the speed and accuracy of ML/AI solutions, managing data structures, models, libraries, and frameworks, and using best practices to ensure data security and cost-efficiency.

This full-time position is based in our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, anticipate visiting the office for new hire orientation and quarterly team meetings.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and research Machine Learning systems, models, and schemes
  • Train and retrain ML systems and models and measure improvement with statistical analysis
  • Study, transform, and convert data science prototypes
  • Collaborate with management, commercial, product, and development teams to achieve company objectives
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with cloud-based data technologies (Azure preferred)
  • Ability to build processes supporting data transformation, structures, dependency, and metadata
  • Experience working with large data sets, identifying patterns, and deriving meaningful insights
  • Creation of insightful data visualizations
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, R, Lisp, and Prolog in a data engineering context
  • Understanding of learning methods including supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks
  • Experience with source control tools (Git preferred)
  • Working experience in Agile Scrum environments
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest tools and technologies
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Bonus Points For:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
  • Experience with OpenAI and Databricks
  • Familiarity with large data solutions
  • Experience in vertical markets such as dental, logistics, or hospitality
