We are currently seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer for our Consumer & Community Banking team to lead and collaborate on end-to-end machine learning solutions. This role is essential for addressing relevance and ranking at a large scale across all business lines of Chase, benefiting millions of our customers.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects that enhance our machine learning capabilities.
• Analyze substantial datasets to inform decisions on real-world applications.
• Explore new methodologies combining theory and practical experimentation for business enhancements.
• Develop and deploy robust software solutions into production environments.
• Identify risks associated with machine learning solutions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Communicate complex issues effectively to guide and influence team and organizational decisions.
• Promote and facilitate a transparent, cross-functional team environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field with substantial professional experience in Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, graph learning, recommendation systems, network analysis, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, MLOps.
• Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a demonstrated capability in fostering the development of junior team members.
• Adept at conducting design and code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Strong technical expertise in Java, Scala, or Python and experience in a cloud environment like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• A passion for working with diverse, large-scale datasets, both structured and unstructured.
