Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve intricate business problems
• Work with cross-functional teams to set project objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications
• Investigate and analyze extensive, complex datasets to detect patterns, trends, and insights
• Amp up machine learning models to augment accuracy, performance, and efficiency
• Monitor and assess the performance of deployed models, troubleshoot problems, and execute necessary improvements
• Stay current with the newest advancements in machine learning and contribute to the perpetual enhancement of our ML infrastructure
• Maintain paperwork for models, algorithms, processes, and findings

Requirements

• 5+ years of ML research or ML engineering at a venture-supported startup or top technology firm
• Welcomes rapid prototyping with a focus on user feedback
• Independent and eager about taking ownership of significant initiatives
• Extreme passion for learning, growth, and leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Demonstrated experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in developing and delivering machine learning solutions
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or Julia
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Thorough understanding of various machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work alone and collaboratively in a remote, rapid-paced environment
