About Snorkel AI

Snorkel AI is enabling a paradigm shift in machine learning (ML) development by helping organizations adopt a programmatic approach to building ML applications. To support our growth, we're seeking a high-caliber founding team of ML solution engineers to join our fast-growing Go-To-Market (GTM) team. As a Machine Learning Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to both prospective and existing customers. Working closely with our co-founders, sales, product, and ML Engineering teams, you will lead value-based evaluation scenarios, including demos, labs, and proofs of value (POVs), to aid in closing business. You will operate at the intersection of product, sales, and engineering, contributing to the development of Snorkel Flow into the leading data-first AI platform.

Main Responsibilities

• Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle by designing and leading tailored, business value-aligned technology evaluations.
• Serve as the first-line expert educators on the Snorkel Flow Platform, crafting demos and presentations for customers and field experts.
• Act as the primary customer-facing technical resource during client and partner meetings, engaging with Data Scientists, AI/ML practitioners, Architects, Technologists, Product Owners, Transformation Leaders, and C-level executives.
• Provide trusted advice on AI strategy, operating model, architectural best practices, data preparation, scripting, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumption.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to achieve quota targets while ensuring smooth transitions to post-sales and customer success teams.
• Offer guidance to revenue leaders on sales strategies and product obstacles while representing the team's needs to the executive staff.
• Interpret complex problems, create straightforward solutions, and work closely with the broader team to deliver winning AI solutions that drive critical business outcomes.
• Partner effectively with co-founders, product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to enhance pre-sales activities such as demos and POCs.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (including B2B software sales or DS/ML consulting).
• Proficiency in value-centric sales methodologies and qualification frameworks such as MEDDPIC or Command of the Message.
• Expertise in modern machine learning frameworks and technologies (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
• Thorough knowledge of industry-standard Data Science and Machine Learning technologies.
• Fluency in Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience in building and implementing machine learning or AI models.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure machine learning solutions deliver desired business outcomes.
• Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, using various formats such as whiteboards, presentations, and demos.
• Ability to connect specific business problems to Snorkel’s unique ML development approach.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
