Key Responsibilities:

As a Machine Learning Research Engineer, you will:

• Develop and implement machine learning models using the latest methodologies to integrate into our systems.
• Analyze large datasets to discover underlying patterns and statistical structures.
• Create innovative machine learning models and pipelines beyond conventional solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to manage technological and business-related challenges, ensuring seamless integration of models into production systems.
• Enhance and scale our machine learning infrastructure to support advanced research and development.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of modern machine learning, acquired through academic courses, books, personal projects, or professional experience.
• Experience with ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Pytorch), and familiarity with distributed computing, Cuda, and Git/Linux/Code review processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python or C++.
• A strong passion for applying machine learning techniques to solve financial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems creatively while paying attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in New York is $150,000 to $200,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Benefits at Tower Research Capital include:
