As a disability confident employer, we will assist with your application, making necessary adjustments as needed. We value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.
As our Machine Learning Scientist, you will apply machine learning within our business, contributing to projects such as defect detection for wind turbine blades, extracting insights from smart meter data, and exploring large language models.
You'll collaborate with the Digital Innovation team to design and deliver high-quality data science projects that meet business needs. This involves scoping problems, assessing technical approaches, building proofs-of-concept, and implementing technical solutions for use by the business.
Your work will cover topics such as implementing deep learning algorithms for advanced computer vision or NLP, developing and maintaining state-of-the-art machine learning methods, and exploring novel use cases involving generative AI and multimodal techniques.
Additionally, you will explore new projects like machine learning for physical simulations and advanced text mining of customer interactions.
We seek individuals with a background in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related data-intensive field. You should have working knowledge of computer vision or natural language processing, Python data science frameworks, data visualization frameworks, and other relevant libraries and toolkits. Experience with data analysis, data warehouses, and big data technologies is essential.
Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and enthusiasm for innovation and cutting-edge technologies are crucial. If this describes you, we’d love to hear from you!
