Your daily tasks will include:
- Mining data to discover key information for the organization
- Identifying and incorporating process, data, and reporting improvements
- Working with large, complex databases containing millions or billions of records
- Improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Conducting analysis to evaluate processes and tests
- Extracting and analyzing data to measure product offerings
- Consulting on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems
- Developing and implementing strategic tests of products, initiatives, and marketing materials
- Managing up to 3 people
The ideal candidate will be at the cutting edge of analytical technology with a passion for the latest and most innovative tools. They should possess strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking capabilities, alongside solid communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. This fast-paced and entrepreneurial position involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and within teams. The role entails a significant Business Intelligence component, so those with a BI background are encouraged to apply.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of experience in data analytics, or a Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, or a PhD with at least 1 year of experience in data analytics. The relevant degree should be obtained or in the process of consideration to be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional data analysis experience
- At least 4 years of programming experience
- At least 1 year of experience in people management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience
- At least 1 year of project management experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Python, R, Spark or SQL
- At least 1 year of experience in Tableau
- Proficient in using and developing within AWS service
