Position Overview

As the Manager, Global Marketing Data Management, you will play a crucial role within our Global Strategy & Marketing Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Insights & Analytics, your expertise will enhance Ball's strategic initiatives by directing the development and execution of sophisticated data-management strategies. These strategies are designed to amplify business and marketing performance across our global operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy and Vendor Management: Establish standards and build expertise in data management, particularly in the use of secondary data analytics. Oversee vendor relations for secondary market research, including but not limited to IRI and Nielsen.
  • Data Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive data strategy that supports both marketing and broader organizational objectives.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Develop data governance frameworks to comply with legal standards such as GDPR and CCPA, ensuring the integrity and security of marketing data.
  • Data Analytics and Insights: Spearhead the development of analytical tools and techniques to derive actionable insights and boost marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to integrate data management strategies with corporate goals and ensure cohesive data-driven strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of industry trends to continually refine and advance our data management practices and technologies.

Required Experience and Skills:

We are looking for candidates who bring a strong foundation in data management with at least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a focus on marketing data. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing is required, with a preference for an advanced degree. Expertise in data analytics platforms such as SQL, Python, R, and familiarity with CRM and ERP systems are highly beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits:

This fully remote position offers a competitive salary range of $93,000 – $142,140, based on education and experience. Eligibility for incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package is included. The role necessitates occasional travel, ideally positioning the candidate within a 50-mile radius of a major U.S. airport.
