Manager, Analytics Job Opportunity at Navy Federal Credit Union

Join Navy Federal Credit Union as the Manager of Analytics and lead our Analytics Center for Enablement (C4E). This critical role will empower business users across the credit union with world-class self-service data discovery and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

As the Manager of Analytics, you will:

• Oversee enterprise anchor business intelligence (BI) and machine learning (ML) platforms, managing a dedicated team to deliver BI and analytics services.
• Deliver BI dashboards and analytics capabilities to enable data science functions.
• Lead Agile teams in productionizing environments for analytics and data at scale.
• Set strategic direction and drive best practices in partnership with enterprise stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to deliver BI and Analytics solutions.
• Work with product teams and business users to meet their data and analytics needs.
• Adhere to data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Optimize data structure and representation for clarity and reusability.
• Evaluate and implement new analytics platform capabilities to meet business needs.
• Migrate dashboards/reports from legacy BI platforms to cloud-native BI platforms.
• Utilize CI/CD best practices, including test automation and monitoring of ML models.
• Track performance monitoring, usage reporting, access, and license management.
• Develop and implement analytical techniques and educate business users.
• Build and manage an Agile team to deliver analytics.
• Maintain BI and Analytics components of the Annual Financial Plan (AFP).
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in BI and Analytics.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in delivering data analytics in a management role.
• Proven expertise with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, and Spark for Big Data Analytics.
• Experience leading Agile teams for production-scale capabilities in Azure or similar Cloud.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks ETL.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience communicating data outcomes visually and through storytelling.
• Skills in change management and promoting the adoption of analytics capabilities in Cloud.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with executive presence.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience building ML/NLP models in Azure Databricks and RStudio.
• Experience managing DevOps and productionizing ML Feature Stores.
• Knowledge of banking/financial industry trends and services.
