Job Description

We are seeking a Manager of Marketing Data Analytics who thrives on delivering in-depth analyses to influence various aspects of our marketing performance. You will act as a strategic business advisor to senior decision-makers, transforming analytic insights into significant business opportunities. Your role involves identifying critical marketing projects aligned with strategic goals, optimizing marketing spend, and supporting all marketing channels. You will collaborate with different business units, such as Integrated Marketing, Product, Creative, Finance, Technology, and Business Operations, to achieve these objectives.

This hands-on analytical role requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the expertise to turn data into actionable insights. You will be expected to lead a team of analysts, foster innovative marketing strategies, and apply data-driven approaches to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts to explore new data-driven marketing strategies and improve effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize acquisition spend using predictive analytics.
  • Extract and analyze data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate member activity from various marketing sources and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct weekly high-level analysis for marketing team members, focusing on traffic, audience growth, and engagement strategies.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data, offering insights to enhance spend efficiency and revenue.
  • Utilize analytical tools to understand customer behavior and improve the customer experience.
  • Forecast traffic trends, orders, marketing spend, and revenue.
  • Deliver quick turnarounds on dashboards, identify trends, and make recommendations for business decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop high-quality data infrastructure for tracking and analysis.
  • Present analytical results and insights to influence strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, forecasting, or business planning.
  • Proficiency in SQL and complex SQL code.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Alteryx.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of analysts.
  • Knowledge of various marketing channels and campaign performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, web analytics tools, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting automation tools.
  • Understanding of traffic metrics, broadcast measurement, funnel performance, and marketing demands.
