In Capco, our global Data Practice team of over 800 data practitioners enables financial institutions to become data-driven. We help transform their understanding, management, storage, and use of data to enhance value for themselves and their customers.
Our team collaborates with clients to develop focused, actionable, and effective data strategies that deliver business outcomes sustainably. We turn strategy into action – designing, implementing and mobilising innovative data capabilities with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
Using our deep domain and business expertise, we design modern data platforms and curated data products, focusing on automation and data management by design. We are leading the design and implementation of next-generation data platforms across the industry.
Your Role
As a Data Strategy and Transformation Manager, you will use your in-depth data expertise to form actionable and effective data strategies that deliver business outcomes for our clients sustainably.
Responsibilities may vary based on client needs and could include:
- Scoping, mobilizing, and managing the delivery of client data strategy and operating mode projects.
- Defining the client’s data strategy including its vision, objectives, and key results.
- Leading data maturity assessments to provide clear assessments of client data capability levels.
- Overseeing the design of the client’s data Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Guiding the development of the data strategy business case and shaping strategic roadmaps.
- Facilitating interviews and workshops to identify client pain points and their root causes, and linking these to data capabilities.
- Reviewing existing client data processes, tools, and governance and providing recommendations for improvement.
You will also play a vital role in developing the Data Strategy & Advisory capability within Capco.
Your Skills and Experience
Most importantly, a passion for data is necessary. You will have at least five years of experience in data strategy or data management, and a deep understanding of data strategy principles, and data analytics.
Ideally, you would also have:
- Five years’ consulting experience at a top-tier consultancy or similar role within a Financial Services organization
- Background in Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with data management tools and data analytics implementations
