As a Market Data Analyst specializing in Vegetable Oils and Biofuels, you will play a crucial role within our Market Data Operations team. This position is designed for individuals who excel in analyzing and interpreting market data to ensure quality and accuracy, driving strategic decisions across global markets.

Your Future Role

You will be expected to:

• Maintain expert-level knowledge on global vegoils/biofuels markets, analyzing relationships between various market factors such as feedstocks, supply, and demand.
• Ensure the data integrity on Kpler’s platform by performing daily quality checks and updates.
• Respond swiftly to client inquiries and support our sales and customer success teams to enhance client engagement and service delivery.
• Lead initiatives to identify new data sources and improve existing databases, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative features that enhance our data quality.
• Engage directly with clients, providing insightful analyses and presentations tailored to their strategic needs.
• Monitor industry news to detect trends, translating these insights into recommendations for product enhancements.
• Refine and standardize data quality assessment procedures within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of experience in commodity markets, with a specific focus on data analytics within the vegoils/biofuels sector.
• Proficiency in managing large, complex datasets with tools like Excel, BI software, and SQL. Python knowledge is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical prowess with a keen eye for detail and trend identification.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with and supporting a diverse, global team.
