About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Data and Insight Leader to spearhead our marketing analytics and reporting initiatives. In this role, you will lead a team of Marketing Operations Analysts and be directly responsible for analyzing marketing data, crafting insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize our marketing campaigns and enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement overarching marketing analytics and reporting strategies.
  • Align with Marketing and Sales teams to understand business objectives.
  • Define essential KPIs to evaluate marketing efforts, analyzing performance, ROI, and improvement areas.
  • Interpret metrics, provide insights, and forecast trends to support marketing strategies and campaign optimizations.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on marketing performance, offering insights to Marketing Leaders and stakeholders.
  • Educate teams on new analytics strategies, KPIs, and dashboards to foster adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance, to align analytics initiatives with business goals.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights.
  • Lead complex projects aimed at solving critical business problems with wide-reaching impact.
  • Direct descriptive, diagnostic, and prescriptive analyses on intricate projects.
  • Understand data from web, product, CRM, purchasing, and marketing automation systems, focusing on business processes.
  • Own the Marketing Data Governance strategy, participating in cross-team initiatives.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Channel Performance: Analyze strategic insights across paid, owned, social, and email channels.
  • GTM Planning: Monitor, track, and evaluate marketing performance across campaigns.
  • Media and Audience Insights: Drive brand awareness through media analytics.
  • Funnel Performance: Track and analyze funnel metrics (web-to-lead-to-pipeline).
  • Target Setting and Forecasting: Work with finance, sales, and demand generation teams on target creation and strategic marketing planning.

Collaborations

  • Partner with the Corporate Data & Analytics team to create data project requirements and Tableau content.
  • Participate in Data Champion programs and represent the Marketing team in strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate on QSR reporting and insights with other functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in analytics, data visualization, and stakeholder management.
  • Solid understanding of marketing concepts and metrics.
  • Ability to extract meaningful insights from data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strategic mindset with a vision for using data to drive marketing success.
  • Expertise in Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Google Analytics.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing global teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
