About the Team:

The Data and Analytics team is a cornerstone within our Marketing sector, tasked with leveraging state-of-the-art data and analytics to enhance customer experience and optimize revenue performance. We provide essential insights and tools promoting data-driven strategies in marketing and sales. As a vital member of this scrappy, expanding team, you will work closely with data engineers, analytics managers, and data scientists in an agile, collaborative and innovative environment.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Data Engineer, you'll tackle multiple challenges:

  • Construct and maintain marketing databases and pipelines catering to advanced segmentation, automation, and analytics.
  • Facilitate seamless data integration and manage stringent service level agreements to optimize performance and data integrity.
  • Develop sophisticated data transformations employing Python/SQL to support numerous internal teams.
  • Champion our core cultural principles globally as we scale and expand.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills with practical experience in data modeling.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse solutions like Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and others.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams to understand complex data requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MarTech stacks and tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.
  • Background in data visualization or machine learning is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

At Samsara, we ensure our compensation packages are competitive and align with market standards. For this role, the salary range is $79,730—$134,000 USD, exclusive of bonuses and equity options.
