Join Our Team as a Mid-Level Data Engineer at ManTech International Corporation

ManTech International Corporation is currently seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Mid-Level Data Engineer to help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement. This hybrid position is based in L’Enfant Plaza, Washington, DC, requiring two days a week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain effective database models and components.
- Design and manage data pipelines and data models, including profiling, cleansing, and performance tuning.
- Develop, test, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT scripts, or packages.
- Implement complete lifecycle services/solutions for various projects.
- Communicate technical concepts adeptly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or a similar field.
- Strong proficiency in ETL and ELT processes and methodologies, alongside familiarity with data warehousing concepts like dimensional modeling, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or similar languages.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including hands-on management of data pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
Security and Physical Requirements
- US citizenship required with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
- The role requires remaining stationary for 50% of the time and frequently operating computers and other office productivity devices.
- Effective communication, including the delivery of presentations, is crucial.
