Opportunity: Mission Data Analyst Associate/Staff

We are seeking a talented and driven systems analyst/engineer to contribute to our Next-Generation Missile Warning software programs. This role provides a chance to be part of a dynamic small business that is at the forefront of developing core capabilities for national defense. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of software processing for Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data, crucial for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence tasks.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Hus
  • Analyzing and interpreting algorithm performance data to provide actionable insights for software development teams.
  • Presenting analysis findings to team leads and stakeholders.
  • Testing and evaluating software across development stages to ensure robust analytics support.
  • Developing tools in Python for data analysis, including interactive multivariate visualizations and performance metrics enhancements.
  • Working with diverse programming environments, including Python, C++, and shell scripts on Linux systems.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience, preferably with large dataset and remote sensing data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
  • Experience with OPIR data analysis and Python visualization/analysis tools.
  • Advanced degree in relevant fields and experience in an AGILE development process.
  • Proven track record supporting Missile Warning, Missile Defense, or related fields.
