About the Job

We are searching for someone with a passion for problem-solving and data interrogation, coupled with hands-on experience in programming and engineering. As our Risk Analytics Insight and Data (RAID) team expands, we need a technical expert to consult on data science and automation projects, as well as to enhance existing analytics solutions.

The ML Engineering Specialist will be pivotal in maintaining and scaling the RAID infrastructure, ensuring it can support more users, handle more data, and enable richer analyses. Collaboration across various delivery, Run, and stakeholder teams (including Risk, Financial Crime, IT) is vital to gather requirements, agree on designs, and conduct thorough code testing and review. Your efforts will help us derive insights into the business’s risk exposures.

Moreover, you'll be instrumental in optimizing and automating current solutions and implementing new deliveries within the RAID team, taking an active role in the design and development processes.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies with a strong command in R and/or Python.
• Educational background: Degree/MSc/PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields preferred.
• Creative thinker/problem solver with practical experience in applying modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with modern development practices and a commitment to delivering quality outputs at all project stages.
• Stakeholder management experience with the ability to represent data science in strategy discussions and optimize deliverables.
