About the Role

As a Machine Learning Ops Engineer at Mumsnet, you will:

  • Utilize LLMs to construct intelligent workflows and applications that address complex business challenges.
  • Design and maintain robust infrastructure to support testing, deployment, and monitoring of ML systems.
  • Create and manage data pipelines essential for daily analytics and machine learning workloads.
  • Transform offline models into scalable real-time ML production systems.
  • Develop tools and services to optimize ML training and inference processes.
  • Apply best practices in software engineering to enhance machine learning system reliability, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automation, and security.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly in GenAI and LLMs, to continuously refine our strategy and technology stack.

Who Should Apply?

Our ideal candidate for the Machine Learning Ops Engineer position should possess:

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Advanced skills in mathematics, computer science, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
  • Fluency in Python and experience with cloud computing platforms; GCP experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • A deep understanding of or experience with working on LLMs.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong foundations in software testing, benchmarking, and continuous integration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
