Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine multimodal foundation models, integrating AI inputs from imaging, radiology, clinical notes, vitals, and medication data to create medical predictions.
• Focus efforts on LLM applications particularly for the medical field.
• Create predictive models tailored for clinical applications and generate documentation for areas of improvement.
• Address complex challenges in computer science, emphasizing data curation, advanced AI model training, and impactful insights within the healthcare domain.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Multimodal AI Expertise: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and fine-tuning models handling diverse data types using various AI architectures.
• Data Curation and Preparation: Extensive experience in curating datasets for healthcare AI model training.
• Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and C/C++ for AI model implementation and optimization.
• Deep Learning Frameworks: Strong command of PyTorch, coupled with familiarity with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, and scikit-learn.
• Model Compression and Scalability: Expertise in model compression techniques and large-scale distributed training.
• Research and Publication: Demonstrated publication record in top-tier conferences and active contributions to machine learning communities.
• Innovation and Adaptability: Capacity to tackle challenging computer science problems and adapt to cutting-edge AI techniques for healthcare.
• Domain-Specific AI Application: Proven experience in developing AI models tailored for clinical fields.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CUDA programming, image processing libraries, and vector databases for medical data processing.
• Advanced AI Techniques: Knowledge of parameter-efficient tuning, domain-specific model fine-tuning, and human-in-the-loop learning.

A PhD focused on LLM and image multi-modal foundation models with one to two years of work experience is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000 - $200,000.
