Job Description

Join our dynamic Network Data Insights and Analytics team as an experienced Network Data Analyst. In this crucial role, you'll evaluate global log and alert data from network components, delivering actionable insights for proactive decision-making. Utilizing cutting-edge network monitoring tools, you'll generate comprehensive reports and insights for both IT and business stakeholders. Partnering with development teams, you'll design and create network dashboards, reports, and presentation content for our Network Observability product line.

Your contributions will be instrumental in working alongside Capacity Planning, Network Monitoring, and Network Automation teams to measure the performance of essential network components like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver insightful executive dashboards from start to finish, offering actionable insights.
  • Bring passion to data analysis, data mining, and AIOps network monitoring tools.
  • Act as a generalist in network monitoring tools, exposing opportunities, and generating insights for network enhancements.
  • Develop visually appealing and organized network analytics for executives, product leaders, and DevOps engineers.
  • Implement proactive measures using automation, AIOps tools, performance management tools, and intelligent alerting mechanisms.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, or Grafana.
  • At least 2 years of experience with network monitoring, reporting, and observability tools such as Sev-One, ThousandEyes, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, and NetBrain.
  • Foundational certifications in AIOps, Data Science, or similar fields.
  • Experience with large global network infrastructures and components like routers, switches, LAN/SD-WAN, and firewalls.
  • Proven track record of building actionable dashboards using BI Platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries for dashboard and report creation.
  • Experience with general-purpose programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • A genuine passion for data and being a data evangelist.

Required Education: High School Diploma

Location: Hybrid - NJ or TX

Work Model: Effective September 5, 2023, U.S. office-based positions will follow a Hybrid work model: three days on-site per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and either Monday or Thursday) with Friday designated as a remote-working day.

Salary Range: $83,100.00 - $130,900.00

Benefits: Bonus eligibility, long-term incentive, health care, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. .
