The R&D SG Department at PatSnap is at the forefront of developing advanced natural language processing technology and services. By harnessing Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision (CV), and Knowledge Graph technologies, we aim to develop industry-leading products.

Job Responsibilities

As the NLP Team Leader, you will:

• Utilize natural language processing, machine learning, and data mining technologies to build models that drive business objectives.
• Employ techniques such as NER and relationship extraction to address complex business challenges.
• Analyze both structured and unstructured data, transforming it into actionable formats.
• Enhance data collection processes and create compelling data visualizations.
• Develop cutting-edge NLP systems tailored to meet specific requirements.
• Conduct statistical analysis of model results to refine approaches and methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and related technologies.
• Deploy models efficiently, focusing on optimizing inference speeds and managing large data sets.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 5 years working experience in NLP, with a proven track record of staying current with industry and academic advancements.
• Strong knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Leadership experience, preferably managing a team of 4-5 engineers.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese.
• A solid foundation in algorithms, with a passion for technology development and application.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience in optimizing pre-trained models, including those based on BERT and GPT.
• Authorship of papers published in prominent conferences like ACL, AAAI, KDD, NIPS, or CVPR is highly desirable.
