This unique legacy of innovation is fueled by extraordinary technology and remarkable people. Currently, we're fully vested in harnessing the limitless potential of AI to shape the future of computing. In this era, our GPU serves as the brain of computers, robots, and autonomous vehicles that can comprehend the world. Achieving the unprecedented requires vision, innovation, and the best talent. Our internships provide exceptional opportunities to further your career and gain hands-on experience with one of our leading Artificial Intelligence teams. We're searching for strategic, ambitious, diligent, and creative individuals passionate about resolving challenges unparalleled elsewhere.
Throughout the 12-week internship, students will work on projects significantly impacting our business. Candidacy is opened to students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a relevant or related field.
Potential internships in this area include (but are not limited to):
Deep Learning Applications and Algorithms: Developing algorithms for deep learning, data analytics, machine learning, or scientific computing and enhancing the performance of GPU implementations.
Autonomous Vehicles: Developing and training cutting-edge Deep Neural Networks for path generation. Also involves collecting training data sets and real-time inference run-times using simulators/gyms and conducting in-vehicle tests.
Robotics: You'll play a crucial role in aiding us construct the fundamental infrastructure and software platforms of our system by analyzing code and contributing to the core of the software system that will power every robot and application built with Isaac.
Deep Learning Frameworks and Libraries: Directly contributing to software packages such as JAX, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, integrating the most recent library (for instance, cuDNN) or CUDA features, performance tuning, and analysis. Tasks also encompass developing and optimizing core deep learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., CuDNN, CuBLAS), maintaining the build, test, and distribution infrastructure for these libraries and deep learning frameworks on NVIDIA supported platforms.
Machine Learning: Duties include building and maintaining the pioneering MLaaS (ML as a Service) platform, which includes data ingestion, data indexing, data labeling, visualization, dashboards, and data viewers. Also providing the capability to use and fine-tune the newest state-of-the-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning models according to intended purposes.
Applied Research: Involves developing and prototyping new deep learning algorithms and models for foundation model tweaking or for neural machine translation. Other duties include contributing to open-source projects such as the NVIDIA NeMo generative AI framework with the possibility of publishing your internship project results. Applied Research Areas may include Large Language Models (LLM), Deep Learning Theory, and Applications to Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Graphics, Speech, Reinforcement Learning, or other pertinent domains.
